Astaş Holding completed its Villa, Flat and Hotel Project in Bodrum with the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. Created on a property of 600.000 square meters, the villa rates reached 6.000.000.- Euro. Well known names like Ferit Şahenk, Suzan Sabancı, Acun Ilıcalı and Cem Yılmaz became neighbors. Astaş Holding collecting properties of business men at Cennet Bay in Bodrum for its project is now nearly finished. The Holding cooperating with the luxurious hotel chain “Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group” at the project “The Residences at Mandarin Oriental” invested 225 Million Dollar for the property and 600 Million for the construction. The project, recently completed contains 98 villas and 116 luxurious flats. HE BOUGHT THE PROPERTIES DURING THE COFFEE CHAT
Vedat Aşçı, CEO of the Astaş Holding stated that they started the project by buying the property of 138.000 square meters of the Dedeman family : ” We bought the property of Dedeman, followed by the properties of Ethem Sancak, Mustafa Sarıoğlu and Eczacıbaşı. The rest was acquired from a cooperative. As the owners of these properties were my friends, all was bargained during several tea and coffee talks”. Aşçı added that the above business men having sod their properties, have now villas from this project and 75 per cent of the villas is already sold. In contact with clients from Europe, Emirates and Far East, Aşçı stated that the prices of these villas vary between 1 and 6 Million Euro depending of their size between 200 and 760 square meters. Also an Ameer from the UAE who wanted to stay unknown bought a villa from this project. Aşçı also said that 86 per cent of the property stayed unconstructed : ” The Ministry of Tourism finished the master plans of Türkbükü and Torba after a period of 20 years. A construction permission of 15 per cent and maximum two floors were allowed and we respected these rules.
THE HOTEL WILL BE READY IN JULY
The Hotel of the project with its 108 rooms is planned to be opened in July. Staying open around the year, guests will be accommodated at rates between 800.- and 5.000.- Euro.
VILLAS BUILT AROUND THE TREES
Vedat Aşçı, stating that The Residences at Mandarin Oriental” were built in accordance with the “Green Building” criteria stressed that they aim to obtain the Leed Gold certificate: “We placed the Villas respecting the locations of the trees and planted around 1 Million plants and trees”.
